Old Rag |
Virginia |
An epic climbing trip for sure. We did a considerable amount of bushwacking on the backside of Old Rag. We finally found Sunset Wall, which had a few decent routes. It was very overgrown in that area, making it difficult to find the base of the climbs. Afterwards, we navigated thru the brush and did a few long alpine-like pitches up to the summit. Fun. We saw a huge rattlesnake on the trail on descent. Temp was in the 80's with no breeze, even at the summit. |
